After Reset ITE2 NE-201 Windows 10 OS. In this step, we have to reinstall PDM environment software.
Please go to http://start.ite2nas.com/file/ResetEnvRecovery.ppkg download and install software: ResetEnvRecovery.
(NOTE: This software need to take three steps to install: .NET Core SDK 1.0.4, .NET Core 1.1.2 – Runtime, and Intel® Rapid Storage Technology).
Sometimes, user may need to reset NE-201 Windows 10 OS because of their personal operation needs. Due to the NE-201 is a mini computer that integrate NAS.
In that case, if you need to reset your NE-201, you have to follow the following instruction to rest in case relative apps may lead to system reset process failed.
And, if you need to reset the whole NE-201, there will be separated into two major steps. Reset Windows 10 and reinstall PDM software.
In this post, we will do the reset Windows 10 steps first.
FTP site is a standard protocol for file transfer on the internet. It takes Client/Server mode.
By FTP, user can send out multiple and large files to their client-side easily.
So, [Windows 10 NAS] NE-201 PDM 2.2.0.0 version have added FTP site function in, which can let user can build FTP site easily by just click a few buttons!
In Windows 10 NAS Power Data Manager (PDM) 1.1.0.0 version, it supports SRT caption. The user can only put video and caption file in the same folder, then play the video, and the caption will be embedded directly.
Some videos have already provided the caption files. But what if those video files that do not have caption? and how can we do to apply a caption to our video?
In this post, we will introduce you how to edit SRT caption file and how to put them into a video!
Quota setting can help NAS admin to setup each user’s total capacity. By this function, it can avoid specific user abuse of storage space, causing other users or admin trouble. The first step, find [ Quota Settings ] in PDM [ User Management ], in the settings page, the admin user can manage storage capacity and setup different disk partitions. So, when we set up the quota for each user, the user cannot store data that more than the allowance. Also, please note that the public space and home space in file management page, these space’s allowance are all directly attached to the first partition.
NFS stands for Network File System, which is made by sharing each file between different machine or different operating system.
In this demo, user will learn how to install NFS Server under Linux NAS. By installs NFS server, user can share files between computer and NAS more smoothly and improve work efficiency. NFS can also help data interfacing more easily between other software. This manual is applicable to the following models: Power NAS PN-401, PN401-R and other Linux NAS.
Please note that this demo is all operated by Power NAS PN-401.
Use WINDOWS Built-in function [Remote Desktop Connection] connect to the PN-401.
Please note: Your computer and PN-401 need to connect to the same Local area network(LAN).
1.Login to PDM, and find [PowerBox].
