Window 10 practical tips 4: Personalize Windows Start Taskbar

There are many default items on the Windows 10 start taskbar, but not all of them are being used.

So we can right-click the unnecessary things, and then select [Unpin from Start] to clear those items.

Besides, to clean up all unnecessary items, we can also add commonly used software to the start taskbar.

Just find the widely used software location and right-click that icon and select [Pin to Start], then you can see the software is pinned to the Start taskbar.

Window 10 practical tips 5: Quick Access

Sometimes users may need to find the file but don’t know where it is. But don’t worry!

Windows 10 let users can pin the commonly used folders to the quick access in the navigation panel.

So the user can open the file manager and directly see the shortcut folder they need.

Just right-click on the folder and select [Pin to Quick access], then you can see that frequently used folder has been pinned to the browse panel under the quick access column.

If there have any unused folders, the user can also right-click that folder and click [Unpin from Quick access] to remove that folder.

Window 10 practical tips 6: Customize Bottom Taskbar

For example, the pin function has mentioned in this post, and it can have same effect on the bottom taskbar.

Just right-click the application that users want to pin on the bottom and click [Pin to taskbar] to pin that application to the bottom taskbar.

Users should see that this post has pinned many applications on the bottom taskbar.

If a user does not need that application on the bottom anymore, right-click [Unpin from taskbar] and it should be removed from the bottom.
