Essential keyboard shortcuts

As we know that “Ctrl + C” is the Copy shortcut and “Ctrl + V” is the paste shortcut.  Here are the other essential keyboards shortcuts:

Ctrl + XCut selected items to clipboard.  After that, you can use “Ctrl + V” to paste them from clipboard.
Ctrl + ASelect all content, so that you can copy (Ctrl + C) or cut (Ctrl + X) them.

If you want to type some symbols, press and hold alt key and enter the code with the numeric keypad.  Here are some common symbols:

When using new Zhuyin IME, you can use these keyboard shortcuts to insert some full-width symbols.

Ctrl + ,Full-width comma ,
Ctrl + .Full-width full stop 。
Ctrl + ‘Full-width comma(for traditional Chinese) 、
Ctrl + ;Full-width semi colon ;


In tradition Chinese, If you want to insert other symbols, you can use “Ctrl + Alt + ,” to open IME pad.
